How did this one age? Nearly 4 years ago to the date, Citron was the first to tell readers that MicroStrategy was the ultimate way to invest in Bitcoin, setting a $700 target. Fast forward to today: $MSTR has skyrocketed to over $5,000 (adjusted). Kudos to Michael Saylor for his visionary Bitcoin strategy. 🎉 benzinga.com/analyst-rating… Now, with Bitcoin investing easier than ever (ETFs, $COIN, $HOOD), $MSTR’s volume has completely detached from BTC fundamentals. While Citron remains bullish on Bitcoin, we’ve hedged with a short $MSTR position. Much respect to @saylor, but even he must know $MSTR is overheated

I would think about taking profits on risk assets you hold if you haven't already. There is a non-zero chance of a Yen carry unwind deja vu in the coming week. New @ForwardGuidance drops tomorrow with a lot of alpha.

🚨BREAKING: The Federal Reserve's emergency BTFP dropped by a shocking $30 billion this week, leaving only $26 billion left. Jerome Powell is pulling the liquidity rug away to trigger a crisis, exactly like Feb 2020.

number of active addresses are one of the most misleading and useless metrics in blockchain. here is a 40 line code that can generate 50 million 'active' addresses, each making transactions onchain

Most crypto projects die because the founding team gets rich too early and you can’t recruit your way out of that.

The last important pieces of the polling puzzle are in this morning (NYT polls & Muhlenberg in PA), and I'll say that I think Kamala is now somewhere around 55-60% range to be the next President. Given markets put Trump around 55%, I'm betting a lot on Kam at the moment. If you want to read further, I can explain why. Or you can stop now! -- Alright, so if you follow this account you know I hardly talk about my bets or what I think despite betting this stuff all day. I am very reticent to give people advice; it's hard enough doing this with my own money let alone thinking about anyone else's money. If people DM me for tips, I usually tell them to make the decision on their own. I don't think you should put a lot of weight into my numbers, and the reason I am posting I guess is mostly for posterity. An estimate of 55-60% is going to be wrong by at least 40 points in a few days. Feel free to pick what I am saying apart! I'm getting to 55-60% for Kam by balancing lots of pieces of information that are co…

Huge swing in Pennsylvania betting odds in the past hour, where Trump has gone from 56/45 lead to suddenly trailing 47/50. As a reminder, whoever wins PA, wins it all

China makes it very clear that its main weapon in response to more Trump tariffs is large, up-front Yuan depreciation. That's a game changer after the election. If Trump wins, $/JPY isn't heading to 120 but to 200. This election will have a massive market impact...

At 2pm, France will be voting a world tax law. Meaning, if you're a French passport holder (thankfully I am not), wherever you are in the world, you'll pay a tax, just like US citizens. How f*cked is that?

Ethereum is in deep trouble UNI moving off-chain is only the final nail in the coffin, all apps are moving to competing L1s & L2s instead Collapsing ETH revenue, UNI was ETH's biggest fee-paying customer! Now ETH is being left behind, irrelevant & broken; Ethereum is cooked 🧵 What did we expect would happen after pushing all usage to competing chains ("L2 scaling") A cucked course of action from the perspective of ETH Betraying ETH's cypherpunk dream for the sake of L2 VC funding, as the ultrasound money meme has now been thoroughly defeated by "L2 scaling" It is as clear as day from the moment Dank Sharding was implemented, as you can see in the chart below:

Yep, there's a crypto angle to the TD Bank scandal. It hasn’t hit the crypto press yet, but a big chunk of TD's $1.3 billion fine for violating the Bank Secrecy Act comes from its dealings with shady crypto exchanges in the UK and Colombia. (via TD's consent order with FinCEN)
