Might not be the popular take but I’m not convinced an ETF is good for ETH, feels at odds with the movement we’ve been building Some takes make me feel uneasy, like have you just been waiting for acceptance from the old system the entire time, or been trying to build a new one?

I hear you, I’m kind of indifferent. Counterpoint: It’s not good for much except 1) buy pressure and 2) legitimization of the asset/ecosystem. More exposure = more education = more understanding = more eyes opening (hopefully)

Think the sentiment is that it’s tradfi dictating what can or can’t be a real financial asset, which is pretty against the ethos of defi/decentralization/etc. But, for these things to go mainstream they do need *some* blessing from the incumbents
