Experts say that this pill, which is taken once a day, can be as effective as vape in helping to quit smoking. This drug reduces the desire to consume nicotine and prevents its effect on the brain, and at the same time relieves the symptoms of smoking cessation such as irritability or difficulty sleeping. According to the NHS, when this drug is used along with other measures such as counselling, 1 in 4 people quit smoking for at least 6 months.
