@les if you’re going to compost food scraps, you need a balance of “greens” & “browns.” Greens = food scraps, cut grass, etc. If that’s all you add, it’ll be wet & slimy. Add lots of browns—dry leaves, straw, cardboard. I rip up pizza boxes, paper towel tubes, paper napkins and throw em in.
