What to do if the response you get from several investors is a No followed by... "cool tech, will be necessary, but you're too early" 

It's very disheartening.

Remember they’ve probably never invented something is helpful

Get retained users (or customers) and people may change their answer.

Or even, “cool tech, nice design…normal people won’t care, &c.”

You just gotta have belief that you know your product and market niche. Investors have knowledge, yes; they don’t know everything.
