speaking anecdotally, I invite fewer of my friends to FC now than I did a year or two ago. Still unpacking the reasons / thoughts behind that but curious if others feel the same.

I used to invite anyone who is crypto-adjacent. I don't do it anymore bc - even tho the protocol itself is fantastic - I think most new users would not enjoy the experience of getting started.

They'd essentially be fighting against a system that is mostly designed to filter them out as likely spam, where a powerbadge still determines your visibility but if you're new here you wouldn't even know where to look for it.

I'm focused instead on building tools that promote user discovery (and value signals). But for now I feel new users would struggle here.
