The spam filtering dilemma

Reading some of the replies to these casts today and honestly, if you aren't spending a lot of time reviewing the issue on other clients, or with buoy where you are see the sheer volume of spam and spammers on the network is clear,  then you should spend some time looking at the issue from both sides of the issue. 

I don't like real people being labelled either and have worked in my own way to recognize everyone badge or no badge, screened or not, through my behavior or the behavior on the channels I help moderate /justbuild /powermonday /talkstory. But this is way more complicated issue then some people are giving it credit for being.

Actually I'm happy with all the measures taken against spam - but from my POV this is not the growstopper 
The Growstopper is not getting notified about new comments underneath your post, if you are  not following this.

I can write 100 mindful comments in 100 days without being spammy and if this person is not following me already he will never see them.

On a decentralised this should be an option for every user to either turn on/off and not be decided by the makers of the platform if someone wants to get more or ess notifications
