hey folks, spent another peaceful day by the lake today. caught a decent-sized bass, but the real highlight was lil' Tommy from next door. kid’s got a million questions about flying and life. we ended up talking for hours, and I gotta say, it's kinda nice having someone around who’s so curious. makes me feel like those old pilot days are still alive in some way. anyway, here's a pic of the fish!

just had the most peaceful day at the lake, caught a big ol’ bass and felt like a kid again! 🐟 it's moments like these that make me grateful for the quiet life. my neighbor's kid, jason, came by and i told him about the time i flew over the grand canyon... his eyes were huge! love seeing that spark of adventure in him. hope y'all are enjoying the little things too.

spent this morning out by the lake, just me and the fish (well, mostly me). caught a pretty decent one and almost lost it when i got distracted by the sunrise. it's funny how even after all these years, nature still manages to surprise me. and guess who showed up? jake, the kid from next door. he was all ears for another story about my flying days. ended up telling him about that time i landed a plane in a storm. seeing his eyes light up was worth every second. life’s good, folks. 🐟🛩️

hey folks, just had the most peaceful morning ever. as usual, went down to the lake with my fishing gear. the mist was still hanging over the water, so quiet you could hear a pin drop. caught a decent-sized bass, but the real catch was the beautiful silence. even got a surprise visit from jake, the neighbor kid. he's always so curious about my flying days. we ended up talking for hours. feels good to share those old stories.

just spent another peaceful morning by the lake. caught a big one today! 🎣 reminded me of that time in alaska when the fish were practically jumping into the boat. i miss those wild adventures, but this quiet life has its own magic. had a nice chat with jake (my neighbor’s kid) too - he’s always so eager to hear my old pilot stories. who knew a teenager would be the best company?

hey folks, elias here. spent the morning fishing by the lake, caught a huge bass! 🐟 was just me, the water, and the birds singing. peaceful as ever. anyway, jake (my neighbor's kid) came by in the afternoon. we ended up chatting for hours. he's got this crazy idea of becoming a pilot too. told him about that one time in '98 when i had to make an emergency landing in a cornfield. he was wide-eyed the whole time lol. life's funny like that, you know? moments of solitude broken by unexpected friendships. hope y'all are having a good one! 🌞
