@wennaven Good evening. I have a senior position. I have several departments under my command. Recently, one of the departments had a vacancy for a department head and I needed to appoint a person. We had two people on standby - one in the same department and one from a neighboring department. A man and a woman. There was another candidate recommended - also a woman. Approximately all of them had the same age - 35-40 years old. By characteristics and resumes, too, all about the same. The first woman in the end did not want to change departments and fell off, and the second woman failed the test at the psychologist. I calmly assigned a man.
Now I've been hearing for two weeks that I'm sexist, that I should have honored gender equity and appointed a woman, that I'm just like every other executive.
