I see more and more music collectors and fans choosing to skip streaming entirely and stick to physical formats - buying CDs, vinyl, cassettes. And honestly, itβs pretty obvious why. Streaming platforms rip off artists, offering them just a tiny slice of the whole cake, while buying physical releases (or at least supporting them via Bandcamp) sends money directly to the artist, or at least through a label that actually backs them. What do you think about this slow but steady uprising against streaming? And can someone add me to /music please?

I think a lot of people miss that sense of physical discovery. The act of searching and buying a random CD or record you know nothing about and how happy it makes you feel when the album is good.
