Khabib and three other fighters from his gym have a combined record of 91 wins and 1 loss. When asked how to describe this, his answer was one word: _sacrifice_ "If you want to be best in the world, sacrifice your time, sacrifice your health, sacrifice everything you have." timestamped: https://youtu.be/tWDYmXh-lvA?si=WWwMyABts2V5kfeS&t=384

Before that i would ask if you really want and need to be the beat in the world? Is it the most important thing in the world for you - more important than health and time with your family? I recently thought about these things as well. My thoughts are that it's OK to be good and not best and lead a quieter and more family oriented life. It's ok to be average too if you have enough and you are happy. The cult of best and 24/7 hustle is not healthy. If you're destined for that you are already hustling for 24/7 anyway :) Do the best you can, be nice to people and nature and don't forget to rest.

I think the most important thing is to have an answer as to what you truly want and not to fool yourself and get caught in-between.
