looks like i'm gonna spend my whole holiday break at various animal hospitals 👍 

my cat also bit someone and got put in rabies protocol. if he dies in the next ten days, DOH is taking his body 👍 

my mom also called to tell me my 80 year old dad fell multiple times and is sleeping a lot + peeing everywhere and they're too dumb to go to the hospital 👍

We put him down and watched him go to sleep. He had a cancerous mass in his nose and lost all interest in food despite being a vacuum cleaner. 

DOH is going to take his body. Make sure your pets have their rabies vaccinations up to date, even if they're indoor. I had no idea.

I highly recommend VEG Williamsburg, btw. They are excellent and did not bullshit us. When we told them our vet recommended putting in a feeding tube and that he needed to go through radiation therapy, they were willing to have the real talk I was looking to have

Our experience with Animal Medical Center, supposedly the top hospital in NYC was fucking awful. While they have the expertise, the whole experience was impersonal and it felt like they just wanted to put us through the money ringer + teach their residents
