No. And I'm also not a capitalist. Both are 20th century ideologies. (And they are words that have been stretched and abused to the point of meaninglessness: remember, in the 1990s, Microsoft called Linux "communist": https://www.theregister.com/2000/07/31/ms_ballmer_linux_is_communism/ ) I support freedom, global equality of opportunity, kindness and cooperation, human welfare and progress. These are timeless principles. The question is how to use the tools we have available to achieve these values in the context of the 21st century. I've written at length about the kinds of mechanisms I personally support, but I definitely do not think that I am the only source of good ideas, I think figuring out the best approach is a shared project of both thinking and also increasingly real world experimentation.

This would be COMPBIOENGI: COMPlete BIOLogical ENGIneering This would be a discipline where all the genes of an organism are useful and have been assembled to drive the whole organism towards specific goal(s).

Indeed, to achieve this, we would have to rewrite the human genome, to change almost our entire anatomy (we are too heavy to fly even if we had very powerful wings). Rather than only using genes from other species.

First, there's a good reason humans don't have wings. This is because our ancestors during evolution did not need it to survive. Then no, synthetic biology cannot solve this “problem”.

Sure but it works because photosynthetic organisms are found at thermal vent where there is no visible light

I dont start to really dig in. But there is some rare organism that use infrared radiation for photosynthesis (there is some exemple of such bacteria in thermal vents). Pretty sure that using synbio, some cool idea could come to mind.

Joking aside. I'm working on a way to make plants 13.7X more efficient at fixing CO2 among other crazy projects

Salt in atmosphere will probably kill all photosynthetic organism on land. It would probably be disastrous. Other funny way is to nuke the surface of the moon with atomics bombs to send a cloud of opaque microparticule between earth and moon. (But it will probably destroy all satellites in orbit)

Does it use WL pathway ? Or the Dicarboxylate/4-hydroxybutyrate Cycle ?

Do you know what bacterial species this “technology” comes from?
