Some skies don’t just rise, they ignite.

There’s something about the way the sky sets itself on fire before the world wakes up. Like it needs to break apart before it can start over. Like it has to burn through every shade of itself just to remember how to be whole again.  

Maybe that’s what mornings are, proof that endings can look like beginnings. That sometimes, you have to fall apart before you find your way back.  

Or maybe it’s just the sky, doing what it’s always done, without waiting for anyone to notice.
