It actually depends on who you work for and in which country. There are other ways to "work more" than slaving for corps.

Caveat: this is a human interpretation of life. In all the Biomimicry research and work there is no “more”. I agree. But getting efficient also requires extra work, thus for people to "work more". So I'd be up to "work more" for efficiency temporarily, instead of working overtime for my boss. Trying extra to look good to your employer is the most useless path one can take to be valued in their profession. Just my 2 cents
