I've been afraid of dentists all my life (30 years). But here I had to go because there was no chance, the pain was unbearable. It turns out that now the main thing is to endure a shot of anesthesia (well, it's not so terrible), and then essentially do not feel anything, even removal, even drilling, whatever. And if the doctor understands the doctor will get, it's a fairy tale. In general, I found a dentist to whom I am not afraid to go. Well, as found, the first one that came across)))

i have strong beliefs that spending time on fc is one of the most “productive” things i can be doing rn

the friends made, the alpha, the energy, the learning, the asymmetric upside, list goes on

that doesn’t mean that we don’t all still need balance, so we can bring our best selves both here and elsewhere everyday - i also hold strong beliefs that getting outside, walking, enjoying time w friends, reading, simply thinking, are all incredibly “productive” too, and i definitely take the time to do these often

as someone who spends a lot of time on the internet in the first place, i’m sure there are things i’ll agree with and disagree with in this book (as with any book) and that’s a good thing

feel now might be the best time to read it bc it might be contrarian to how i am currently living, we’ll see!

The common thread that I’ve seen among these increasingly popular “pig butchering” scams is that they involve lonely men.

I know someone personally who is wrapped up in one but won’t get out, because being scammed is better than being alone.

Sad.
