How are people feeling about the upcoming channel changes?

I enjoy experimentation and am just a guy who wants to see Farcaster succeed. So, I’m hopeful it is good for the community. But ultimately im split on whether it will work or not

I think we’ll see two types of channels form: completely open membership (link in channel bio or small action to get access) and completely host controlled membership 

In the first, we can leverage automoderation tools (same as status quo), which should reduce the burden of moderation for the owners. 

In the second, innovation for frames & exclusive content should increase as every channel that wants too can focus on fostering a community. They’ll be incentivized to do so by the membership fee that gives access to the channel (eg hypersub or manifold token)

People are fickle. Channels as member based communities requires hard work on community leaders and members to participate and make it meaningful. 

Are there actually enough of those people? And enough desire to do so? 

Or are we all destined for AI generated junk food content
