maybe the $degen L3 can offer white-labeled tipping infrastructure for farcaster, so projects that want to enable tipping or transfers within their communities can use the same backend but with their own branding, e.g. 5000 $[project_name]

To be honest I was planning on doing something like this with a different token in the future but with swaps. 

Your way sounds way more elegant and taps into the existing market 

Could be nice to have ratios too as degen increases in value

Exactly! Can also be a bootstrap effect I think, where projects can leverage degen and if they want to launch their own token in the future, their audience has already aware of the $project name so they don’t have to start from scratch

yeah, presumably $degen could be exchangeable across various projects at different rates

that way, you don't need to hold many different project tokens, and all the exhange/swapping math can happen on the L3
