I'm super excited to announce the creation of @pkok, an art house that I've been working on for a while. PKOK is almost cooked (COMING REAL SOON) but in true @farcaster spirit I'm shipping it early in order to make an impact starting today. PKOK will create, curate and collect digital art, but in our unique way, in reverse. Collect: Over the course of last 3 years, I've slowly built a large & beautiful digital art collection. PKOK will be the custodian of most of it. PKOK today has thousands of artworks from hundreds of some of the most talented creators in web3. It's just the beginning, the PKOK collection today is a tiny fraction of what I envision it to be. PKOK is also in a unique position to help new collectors get started and help seasoned collectors with discovery. PKOK will advise, onboard and help collectors find and acquire art that resonates with their tastes and goals. We're at a point in history where an art collection is within reach of the masses & we're here to facilitate. 1/3 🧵

CURATE Working with some of the most talented curators, we'll be bringing unique stories woven through the fabric of art. Our goal is not only to celebrate art & artists but also to connect them in unique & meaningful ways. I want PKOK to be a bridge between artists & communities, believing that storytelling through art is very powerful. In doing so, I also want to open doors and incremental earning opportunities for curators. CREATE PKOK will be working closely with emerging, established, and yet-to-be on chain digital artists to bring exciting art to web3. I also believe that virtual spaces and art experiences are incredible ways to unite creators, collectors, and communities, and we’re exploring new and impactful ways to create them. I've experienced first hand how confusing, stressful and competitive art market can be for creators, who often have to fight to be seen and heard. PKOK will be dedicated to promote and showcase artists so they can focus on what they do best: create. 2/3 🧵

very cool! love the ethos and what you're bringing to the space. I really think that farcaster could use an artistically focused boost. While building web3 infra is of course incredibly important, i think the artists can get left behind as people focus more on the practical elements and monetization of platforms, rather than people. If you're ever looking for recommendations for artists in the farcaster space, lmk! I've been quite involved over the last 6 months as a photographer, animator, videographer, and writer, so I've touched on quite a few communtiies and would be happy to recommend people :)

YES YES YES. Discovery is the biggest challenge in digital art and what you're offering is literal gold. Please introduce us to artists we should know of in /pkok.
