If I'm understanding Zora's new cointent play, it's that NFTs were the canonical media token, but then to aide wide participation in a specific media asset required fractionalization into ERC20s but that came with its own baggage, so now media is automatically an ERC20 from day one

With 1155s, liquidity increases, because it’s easier to sell at a lower price, and there’s a secondary market for being able to choose who to transact with
