$DEGEN Monetary Policy: In the coming days, a significant increase in Degen's on-chain supply is expected. To align supply with demand, I'm reducing tip allowances by 30% for all users starting tomorrow. As inflation threatens currency value, I must foster stability. I'll regularly review and adjust these policies.

Actually, I have an idea that can mitigate the inflation of the second airdrop. It is that the points you receive are merely the maximum amount of $DEGEN you can claim, but the amount you can claim ≤ the current balance of $DEGEN in your wallet.

Needs time locks. Else, buy what you need to claim then dump all. A reasonable time lock that ppl would volunteer will delay, but not prevent that intentional action. Delaying the dump for the end, once all tokens are circulating may help smooth smooth it out. Hm. @jacek thoughts on this for later EOM claims?

Like a vesting schedule… 33% on months 1/3/6 kind of thing?

Sure. Not for this month, but if we can cobble a solid plan together might be worth considering for the next claim period (March). Would be tremendously shitty to change the rules so close to the first real claim. I don't mind volatility and love a good crash, but a smoother landing would be nice too 👌

will be bottom fishing if there's a crash. the volatility is a feature not a bug, a fair and self-sovereign way to move from paper hands to diamond hands

Oh for sure! I have just had numerous experiences with vesting in various stocks (publicly traded and ESOP) and the idea fits this well. It’s like “proof of integrity”
