lol snake on a straight line a big part of me thinks and feels that this whole “playing the latest and best game ever” is just an excuse for bringing a facade of coolness and sparkling lights, and that my heart will never be as happy as it was playing RuneScape back in the day but giving up all of the expectations is part of the game, isn’t it? if you are watching the best movie that has ever been created, and you know that many people have said that… how do you manage the expectations part of the thing? how do you allow yourself to sink it in as a piece of mastery and human ingenuity? fascinating balance imo
