A basic set of rules would be nice tbh
Like I said many times, s2 and s3 were the days, ppl actually hustled to make tips, engagement was way way way higher because it was actually fun to be on here. Things are diff now. I’ll
go back to hustling degen give away games, but even that was “frowned upon” in those seasons. But it was fun.
I honestly hate the bullshit tip for tip meta that it is, I just follow the herd. Now we have to “pay to play”, and the enjoyment of being here that you guys once had, is long gone.
My opinion anyway, but I think the extremely noticeable lack of engagement is a sure sign that things need to be tweaked again
IMO list a basic set of rules/guidelines is needed asap and pinned so ppl know what to expect and can adapt to it, whether it be selling their stack because our “content” isn’t good enough, or trying harder because we believe it is good enough. it seems only a small portion of users who are builders like @nikolaiii and @frag.eth actually deserve tips tbh 2 replies

Don’t worry I have no reason to think you are a dick sir I appreciate you popping up in the convo here for everyone’s sake tbh
I personally don’t think there should be rules due to obviously I’m biased via my token holdings, but this is web3, and the token is called degen.
If the super farmer wants to stake multiple degen and collect it, he paid, let him play how he wants to play. Anybody is free to stake higher amounts to even up the distribution. One guy took his conviction to the next level, imo that is a degen move if I ever saw one
However, I asked chatgpt for an answer and it seems reasonable, check out number 14.
Everyone is down to play by the rules, just make sure it’s a written rule, not unspoken/unwritten rules.
Much love and hopefully we can all figure out a fair method that keeps the devs happy, and also the users who have continued to support the cause. 0 reply
