Weird wake fact: Red Dead Redemption turned me onto the satisfying sound of horse hooves on wooden bridges in open world games. A seemingly unimportant sound effect that, for me, reveals much about that world.

This comes up often in gaming: there are many virtual horses, many more virtual bridges, and they often meet.

And when good meets board, I listen.

The biggest risk is not taking one 📈

I've never been to this specific bridge in in Mass and the only open world came set in CA (besides GTA) was Watchdogs 2 (which didn't feature horses afaik).

Rockstar prints money from GTA online. Successful new titles just weren't important for them for awhile.

I didn't know that... Interesting 🤔 

I'm hyped for the new GTA tho they really know how to make us wait 🤣
