Trump plainly supports Netanyahu and his goals. He's said as much. He's not remotely concerned with the death toll; he simply wants to win the election. Gaza is an afterthought. I bet he doesn't even know where Lebanon is.

No American administration will disempower Israel, imo. Increasing corruption under Trump's kleptocracy will only make it more expensive for American citizens (but that won't turn Republicans against the war; cost of business sorta thing). And you can be confident trump will help BN "get it over with quickly."

Nah, if you want a chance, elect people who will come to the table. People who aren't playing games with human atrocities for political points. People who take governance seriously (ie, not American Republicans).

Hmm, everyone here is pinning their hopes on the election period being the time to stop the war, at least in Lebanon.
