Farther V2 is launching August 1st! 

The primary change is tippers will be scored & rewarded based on how well they tip users who have the biggest increase in engagement over time (measured by @openrank).

My understanding from reading the article is that the current scores don't really count, and the real scores will start mattering in determining rewards once the season starts on Aug. 1. The score is calculated based on who you send tips to during the season. Once you get an allowance, you should be able to see your tip score on the farther website.

How to determine tip score? I'm planning to buy the remaining farther needed to get to 100k after claiming.

more details at the linked Farther paragraph article, but essentially it rewards tipping to accounts that increase their openrank score during the season after you tip. Your score will determine the share of the rewards pool that you receive.
