@wadenend I agreed with my husband before the wedding that we would share all the household chores. In the beginning, we did. But after 5 years of marriage, my husband suddenly decides that he still needs a servant, not a wife. We're in our 30s. His friends' wives work and dust off their husbands, watch the kids and cook at home. And he poor dishes, vacuums and oh horror, cooks dinners twice a week.
We make the same money. And for some reason it occurred to him that I'm old, which means no one will look at me and no one needs me, which means I'm not going anywhere.
