Disconnecting Distraction is one of the few Paul Graham essays that has bad advice. It's about avoiding distraction on the internet. It's like when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object, except in this case it's the entirety of human knowledge in your pocket. https://paulgraham.com/distraction.html

have you read hamming's "you and your research"? imo being active on the internet is the ultimate "open door" policy

how much of your outstanding work is done using our own hands (writing software, designing, writing, casting) vs by delegating? genuinely curious because the time I spend executing is far more creative and scalable than delegation and I don’t even get good at that actual task by delegating. I personally want to do high quality work, something I will be proud of regardless of ROI, what my customers think, what others think. In order to do that I need a pulse and often be involved in the act of doing it.
