reflecting on OPs round - funding builders works because if [product] is successful, blockspace demand grows. w nouns, our product requires a visual component to close the feedback loop and have any chance at economic sense. all leading me to think that media is the 80/20 of it all.

just a counterpoint that I, as a large (largest?) nouns buyer, and a lover of media, have a marginal interest in the media props generally. Just because we like the visual brand doesn’t mean we buy *for* the visual brand . The culture is essential but imo is emergent w or w/o subsidy & possibly stronger without
