IBM had a glossy, multipage ad that started like this "In 1981, we introduced the world's most successful personal computer. Here we go again."
Turns out, it didn't work as planned.

Worth reading the Editorial, to get a feeling of what was going on at the time.

Once a month since January, I've been scanning and posting to /techarchive the cover of BYTE magazine as it were 37 years ago.

Each month, when I post a new one, I also link to the previous cast from a month ago, and I've found this to be a nice UI hack/practice: A reader can start from the newest one and hop to the previous one, then one back, and so on.

If you're posting regular updates on something, it may be a good idea to do something similar.
