Not sure if this is a scam but I received a dm on X by a famous artist featured on AB asking if I’m open to collab… don’t want to share publicly her name but I think it’s a very strange request since we never interacted before. Her account seems authentic but I heard of hacked profiles recently. She proposed a zoom chat on Monday so I guess I’ll receive a link. Should I propose a safer approach? Maybe I should setup the call and send the link instead of receiving it? And of course I will never download or click anything 🤔

It's a scam the profile is def compromised, received the same message.

Yeah, it was too weird for me too and when she asked to have a zoom chat I told her to postpone it until Monday so I had the chance to do some checks. And it definitely is a compromised account, thank you for confirming it!
