Total noob question - Will the computationally intensive nature of zk prover networks/markets be as energy demanding (if not more) as bitcoin mining?

I feel like zk prover energy consumption is linear to demands while bitcoin mining almost stay constant over demands.

Not exactly. Such systems function with much more efficient algorithms and will have to be optimised through and through lest they lose money and business on the costs the incur. Consumers want lower prover costs.
