Doing a few rounds of these with a site. I'm pretty convinced any modern AI can do it 10x faster than I can (*finds fire hydrants for nth time*)

I suspect there's also hidden parts of the challenge, like having a "realistic" mouse movement pattern. Though AI can probably ace that too.

But also it’s gotten bad at detecting the “human” part. I had to do a few of these and figure out the “does the few pixels of a bus in this grid count..” question.

I thought we were doing these matches to train AIs on what certain objects look like and that the actual test for if you are a human is done based on browser fingerprinting.

Some Captchas already validate you're a human just by hovering your mouse and not even clicking on images

AI can handle this task using machine learning techniques and behavioural imitation based on data about real mouse movements. Some bots or automated systems do use such ‘human’ patterns to bypass security systems that may recognise artificial, overly precise movements. This is important if the task requires mimicking real user behaviour. I wonder what you think about how AI can handle such hidden tasks?

Yes! Worked on that stuff briefly. Just a matter of which side spends more.

Yeah it's based on user input, if an AI could ace it of the bet though I'm not sure...

Yep. As said by @noad the classic "click to prove you are human" is based on your mouse movemen pattern
