Lots of people doing major projects are genuinely fine only getting $1M instead of $1B. Problem is, people who are willing to give $5M startup capital for a chance at $1M (instead of $1B) are much rarer.

(and when it isn't for VCs it is for LPs, etc)

I think we are living in the most important turning point of human history. Ai will boost everything 10x. But in any direction. We have to cope with it and direct it. Direct it fast.

You need to add politics as well. AI is too disruptive and the potential for negative externalities too great for politicians to ignore
