People who are interested in living in a long-term network state node (so, permanent location, not popup), what are some properties that you would like such a node to have?

How would a sovereign/independent legal system and judiciary improve your life (or the lives of people you care about) inside a network state node?

A few ways: Independent tax system - Assuming this node doesn’t need a military, taxes can be used more efficiently to improve public life. Clean slate policies - The legal structure in many countries is often a product of historical politics that have carried over to modern day in the form of remnants of geopolitical tensions, religion<>state policies, reconciliations, or simply perseverance due to traditional customs. Not all “legacy” policies make sense in the modern world. “Unburdened by what has been,” so to say haha. Legal experimentations - The ability to pick the “best” laws from various parts of the world and apply them in combination with each other is something that’s basically infeasible in most countries given the climate of political gridlock in much of the developed world. A classic case of “you can’t teach an old dog new tricks.”
