Ooh this is a chance for me to give my other blasphemous opinion (some credit to Eliezer): Christian heaven is actually not that fun, and I think most people would consider it worse than life on Earth. Here's a GPT summary of what heaven is like. Do you really want to pray to god and sing songs for hours every day?

In fairness to all the people who participated in coming up with this memeplex, Eliezer's whole point is that coming up with a world that we would *actually* consider to be a utopia (as opposed to just a world that sounds really nice in a story) is really frickin hard.

I grew up a preacher's kid and heaven sounded so boring. Important to note that Xian Apocalypse doesn't culminate in heaven as described above, it culminates in a new heaven and a new earth, basically what we have now but perfected (no pain, want, or disease but things to do).

Maybe that's why God made the world? For ideas? Just imagine him with reading glasses and a giant notepad writing everything down lmao. Sees lottery winners, crosses out: "Invent Money and Give Everyone?"
