TLDR; ▫️L2s and sharding in Ethereum use ZK-SNARKs and DAS for verification. ▫️L2s offer diverse execution environments and flexible security but face coordination challenges like token transfers and wallet support. ▫️They foster innovation, balancing creativity and security, unlike L1-centric models.

Vitalik, sorry this is unrelated but I believe Layer 3s are truly where users, activity and volume will flow to eventually. e.g Degen L3 chain is the only chain that competes with Solana's speed, tx cost, potential use cases. I think L3s outperform L2s entirely this year. Your thoughts?
