I feel like the base model of llama2 wasn't great at coding either, but the fine tunes and tweaked architectures made a lot of magic happen. Hopefully we'll see that happen in the coming weeks with llama3.

Interesting, thanks for demonstrating. I am using ChatGPT heavily for my dev work in my day job. Been curious how the other models are doing. Last I heard is that Claude 3 is getting very close to the reasoning capabilities. Unfortunatly, it is not available in my country yet.

Iโve also been playing with these models, itโs a lot about prompt + use case I feel. Like I find Claude opus to be a much better writer compared to chatgpt.
