What are the biggest value-adds that network states can provide (or should try to provide) to host countries?

The obvious value add is economic. Provide more capital to the locals than they have. And I think this is necessary. But not sufficient. You also want many locals to be “dual citizens”. Like Bitcoin Americans or Ethereum Japanese — dual citizens of cloud and land that make the case on a moral level as well.

Network state could trade IP for hosting eg the network state tries all the crazy drone/ai/longevity/crypto autonomous driving stuff and the host country gets to implement it for free. Or the host country gets a % of equity in any of the companies founded in NS. Basically, a share in the upside.
