Jujutsu Kaisen S1 eps 10 : 'Idle Transfiguration'
Mahito teaches his ideology to Junpei: as a cursed spirit capable of changing the very shape of a person's soul, he sees people as disposable. Junpei, happy at being told he can kill without feeling guilty about it, has a confrontation with his teacher, who had turned a blind eye to Junpei's bullies. He is about to kill his teacher when Yuji interrupts. Nanami confronts Mahito in the sewers, and during their battle, he realizes that the transfigured humans Mahito makes are actually still alive, self-aware, and in suffering. Nanami's work hours hit overtime, and he begins to use his full power to fight, surprising Mahito. 1 reply

Perfect Blue
The story is centered around Mima Kirigoe, the lead member of a pop trio who's decided to go solo as an actress. Her small recurring role in a direct-to-video series ends up turning into a big break, but the part and a subsequent photo shoot involves... compromising situations, to say the least. On top of all this, she's got a stalker that knows every intimate detail about her life and is posting it on the Internet. And then the murders start, and her sanity starts fraying.
This film was Satoshi Kon's big break, and you know why when you watch it. The line between reality and fantasy blurs more and more as the film goes on, and you wonder if it's either all in her head, part of the direct-to-video series, or for real. And you will be scared. I was watching this in broad daylight in my dorm on move-in day for the returning students, and I was still scared out of my wits. And the plot twists. My god, the plot twists. In general, the plot is going to blow you out of the water. 0 reply

The Tatami Galaxy
Tatami Galaxy is set on a fictional universe, specifically a town, which seems pretty close to the modern Japanese towns. Our main character, Watashi, expects to find the rose colored campus life that he always dreamed of, entering a campus club. Instead, he finds mischief and disappointment in every way possible. Every time he joins a club, everything seem to go wrong and he ends up regretting his choice, wanting to go back to the moment of choosing it and reset his life by changing his choice. The plot is following his different choices and the different lifes he lived after them. Watashi begins a journey of self-discovery, where the weight of his choices matters the most, becoming a matured young man who lives his life with unlimited freedom but also respect on every choice. 1 reply

Jujutsu Kaisen S1 eps 7 : 'Assault'
After Jogo's failed attempts to kill Gojo, Gojo explains his ability: he can manipulate speed and the cursed energy around him into an "infinity" that slows down any attacks before they hit him; therefore, his attackers cannot touch him at all. Gojo transports to Jujutsu Tech, picks up Yuji, and warps back in seconds to teach Yuji about Domain Expansions. Jogo's Domain Expansion is destroyed when Gojo launches his own, Infinite Void, as his is more powerful. He traps Jogo in infinity and decapitates him. Before they can find out who Jogo is working for, Hanami escapes with Jogo's head. Geto, Jogo, and Hanami go to a void where the cursed spirits are hiding out, among them the newly-born Mahito. They plan on sealing away Gojo in the Prison Realm and releasing Sukuna. 1 reply
