The amount of happiness and sense of belonging that I've derived from owning a bike in the cities I visit has far exceeded the money that I've paid for those bikes

I’ve always loved the feeling of cycling in the cities I’ve been to, and where I’ve been able to (despite the risks involved in some of them).

That feeling of belonging to the life of a place, to its pace and its everyday day basics. I don't think that the amount of inputs get while cycling in a city can be compared by any other way of land transport. At least for me, cycling in cities has always made me feel alive.

Besides, there is no better thermometer than a bike to know the mood or the vibe of a city 😊
