must have been wild to swim in. I went to Mosquito Bay on Vieques (off Puerto Rico) in 2023, during a new moon and it was insane. I think it’s the brightest in the world. You kayak through glowing waters at night and can see it light up on each paddle stroke. def recommend (hard to capture on camera)

You’re right in that it’s been mostly doable via apps like Magnific or EverArt (the best style transfer apps I’ve found). However, they required a good amount of effort and for some (EverArt) providing 20-50. To add to the discussion, ChatGPT is indeed easier but imho it’s the accuracy that has really resonated with ppl.

just had a thought. if you're building a non-social app (like the tarot app I’m working on) and want to add social features to it (e.g. a timeline or community board), why not just create a dedicated channel on Farcaster and expose those casts to your app? use that channel as the source for your in-app feed instead of building social functionality from scratch. This way, you're not only integrating social features seamlessly but also onboarding users onto Farcaster, where their content exists beyond just your app. maybe this is how we bring the first billion users onboard…

🙏🏼 yeah the farcaster account on X appears to be heavily crypto-focused (without exactly surfacing the benefits of the decentralization aspect or how it differs from existing networks). Maybe a getting started / what is farcaster bio link is better than a telegram link? But to be fair just realized the Warpcast profile on X is a whole lot less crypto-focused and more diverse. Maybe that’s what I should have linked to. For context they were asking if there was a network that could post to where they can prompt the algorithm (remove politics) hence why I linked to Farcaster and not Warpcast.

Imagine a day with no crypto discussions, where any post made must be about anything but crypto and posted on a relevant channel. You could further incentive by giving those posts a multiplier on the leaderboard on such days. It would help diversify content and give us a peek into what a non-crypto dominated feed looks like. 🤔
