You aren’t paying attention. NLU (and the entire rap beef) came about while Drake and UMG were in negotiations. he completed the 400M deal, then the 500M, and was/is in line for a 600M deal. Botting NLU could’ve potentially devalued his catalogue and the money they’ll owe him.
