Oddly enough the structural integrity comes from the bouba part, even though the kiki part looks like the bones. Think of it as hard bits suspended in jello so they don’t have to have the structural integrity of skeletons

I think that’s a value judgment. This is merely an analysis and modeling technique.

a data point to add… a tai chi takeaway for me has been to think of the body first as a sack made by fascia… not as the mech bones and tendons view western sport and pt has (and  the skeleton view you mention)…
