frames make me feel like a boomer. I know there's a lot of interesting stuff out there, but I want a young person to walk me through it all in ELI5 terms in person at the local public library while I fumble for the power button on my phone.

embedded smart contracts but you don't have to leave your feed they are built like you would play Runescape or how you would make a storyboard

Following this but so far i think frames are just a cool way to incorporate on chain actions into FC feeds

Frames are almost like interactive billboards enriched with onchain data. They’re simple, offer instant gratification and can drive to higher fidelity apps / richer onchain experiences.

Embedded images but with buttons that can talk to a server and update the image. Doing something interesting on the server with those button clicks (e.g. fire off a tx to mint an NFT) is how the devs make their magic.

They are just mints in one or two clicks depending on where your crypto is stored. It also depends on the chain someone uses. I still think the user experience is poor - but I think that will improve. I need to read more docs myself.
