Would it be technically possible with farcaster to simply import a twitter history (with timestamps)? Mentions of people and tweets that are not also on here would simply be grayed out/unavailable. @v

yes it's totally possible, but why? those are conversations in the past from another place in life and social state.

I have my archives. They’re just not useful as huge json dumps, and hosting on a static website archive seems vaguely silly. 

If storage would be too expensive maybe variable cost cold storage model for casts based on age and frequency of access. Corps already use cheaper/slower warehouses for archival age data 🤔

Twitter allows you export all of your data because of CCPA / GDPR.

Could build a tool to parse the JSON and cast (with the old timestamps). Maybe you remove the @ to not mention spam a name collision.

Just need enough storage.
