I seem to be in the best shape of my life. Not saying much, but I'm going to keep doing what I'm doing.

Very keen on Garmin's running plans. They're very gentle and responsive to your actual shape and gradually take you up the ladder. I've used them continuously for the past 3 years and am in pretty good shape (6:30 mile yesterday). ~30% slower than high school but with a lot less work (and 20 years older)

Check out body by science. It’s almost too easy to seem legit. But I got back in shape after being sick doing it a couple times a week. 5 exercises, 15 mins.

Personal training will really help you get in routine. Also starting a with a cold plunge will get you pumped mentally and also get your blood circulating.

Exercise is social. For anyone over 40, strongly recommend spin for cardio, and yoga for strength and balance. Both are low impact and you can do for a lifetime

Getting a personal trainer is a good idea. Though ultimately they weren’t a huge help, it got me going with shifting dieting and exercise planning. Down almost half my body fat % since last year

I started my fitness journey over a year ago and went from not exercising at all to 1 hour x 5 times a week. What worked best for me was starting small, 10 minutes a day from home.
