The right to be incompetent at adulting is the right that underwrites everything else. Ironically, fetishizing competence at independence skills is the mark of the mindless conformist.

There’s more than one way to survive meaningfully.

Interesting that the majority of these are specialized or stylized protocol literacies. And the ones that aren’t (cooking, coding, survival) are clearly intended by the author here in their protocolized variants. They probably basic tasteless cooking, boring coding, and tacticool larp survivalism
