I feel like my bout of Covid 2 years ago definitely affected my memory. Especially my previously strong memory for names/nouns. I did have the generalized brain fog for a while too but that and other long vivid type symptoms appear to have gone. Just this memory effect. Anyone else have this?

yep, i thought it was just me :'^) in some ways, it's welcome, bc a strong memory and obsessiveness are not a good combo

Didn’t get sick (touch wood), but my memory does feel like it deteriorated. I had chalked it up to the elevated daily stress of living through the pandemic and increased monotony of working remotely. Hasn’t gone away.

I have no idea if mine is COVID or aging. It feels like it happened kind of suddenly within the last year (I had COVID in December 2023 for the first time)

i find myself remembering more the path of things and less the things themselves. i've also lost some unconscious willingness to remember. have to exert conscious effort for comparable result

Exactly same thoughts and grey zone here, and same age cohort. First and last known COVID last summer.

Exactly the same thought. I feel the exact same way. It really has erased a lot of good memories too. I strongly feel my trauma didnt leave but all the good memories are gone. My life has not been the same since my mental health been greatly effected too.
