What's something that's confusing to you about Farcaster?

I don’t really get the idea of using the seed phrase in a wallet to access other apps using the protocol. This feels like mixing abstraction levels. Like an L1.5 thing in between L1 and L2. You really expect me to put the FC seed phrase into a metamask type wallet to access dApps that build on FC? 😵💫

I’d something more like a) Warpcast and other generic clients can “browse” more specialized apps and authenticate indirectly without touching seed phrase OR b) My associated eth address is validated as holder of an FC account on blockchain directly OR c) I have an FC master-key NFT in my wallet

That's not the plan. We just rolled out the v1 of Login with Farcaster this past week. jam.so and alphacaster.xyz both use it Think of it like an decentralized version of OAuth where the developer has a sovereign-but-user-revokable token. https://i.imgur.com/3hlhdi9.jpg

You don’t need to use the seed to login to Jam mobile apps
